Environmental Work Party day

On the 4th of June, we invited all tenants and some other friends to join us for a general environmental work party day, doing any number of things around the estate. Courtney Hood of Workman, Mark Ibbotson the former site property manager, Sam from Bellrock and the Calpins landscape team all gave up a free day of volunteering.

Site Clearance

A site wide deep litter clearance was done, picking up a few items disputed as theirs, by tenants in a sort of amnesty. We removed 200 tree guards and stakes from free TCV whip trees planted by the estate team in Jan 2024 as they needed to be released once they were established.

Then the team carried out some heavy week removal from two areas of the landscaping which have been stripped of old and large planting this year and left to recover before replanting in 2026/2027.
